About the role
Join our coding team as a Medical Coder specializing in ICD-10 coding. You will be responsible for accurately coding medical records and ensuring compliance with coding guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze medical records
- Assign appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes
- Ensure coding accuracy and compliance
- Work with physicians to clarify documentation
- Maintain coding productivity standards
- Stay updated with coding changes and guidelines
Requirements
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification
- Minimum 3 years of medical coding experience
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems
- Experience with multiple medical specialties
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy
- Associate degree in Health Information Management or related field
